Basket Ball
he 81-point outburst against the Toronto Raptors on January 22, 2006 best displays the polarizing effect KB8 has on basketball fans... on one hand, the man just scored 81 points, whether in high-school, a recreational league, or on the playground, that is a phenomenal amount of points and it speaks volumes of the type of talent it takes to reach. An amazing once-in-a-era feat... then again, for as much praise and awe that Kobe received, he was equally vilified. The naysayers lambasted him for his selfishness, dismissed it, and used it as further evidence of his shot-happy nature. Kobe has an uncanny ability to put the ball in the basket, and unfortunately for Kobe, he has an equally uncanny ability of creating as many haters as he does fans. Kobe Bryant will go down as being one of the most lovedand most hated players in NBA history.
